Add Ons

Each treatment is tailored around the issue that you're dealing with at that moment and sometimes it changes. Therefore on occasions I may suggest an "add on" to your treatment if I think it may be more efficient way to get you out of pain - and only after consulting with you - this usually transpire after at least two or three session to see how your body is reacting to the current treatment.

However, if you would like any of these modalities added to your session early on - just let me know. They all have their own uses, although what is good for one person may not be accepted as well for another, so please consult prior.

Hot Stones Therapy

Adding heated stones to your treatment will help the stubborn and tight muscles to relax faster and allow for deeper work and relaxation. Wonderful to use as part of the deep tissue back, neck and shoulder treatment. A gem during the cold winter days.

Please note: extra £10 will be charged on top of your existing session

Cupping Therapy

Using silicone cups to create a negative pressure on the skin and tissues in order to increase blood flow into the underlying area, bringing in new nutrients and oxygen, relieving muscle tension, and promoting relaxation. Some cups may be stationary while other are moved in gliding motion to help with the lymph flow and circulation.

Scar Therapy Management

A non-invasive therapy effectively addresses scar tissue, fibrosis and adhesions that may develop after surgery or injury. By promoting recovery, it aids in restoring mobility, tissue flexibility and function.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

MLD is usually a stand alone treatment for swelling, boosting immunity and energy, but it can also be added to your session to target specific area of lymphoedema, whether it is primary, post operatively, due to an oncology treatment, after cosmetic surgery or otherwise.

Thai Yoga / Sport Stretching

Thai Yoga Massage is also known as "Lazy Person's Yoga" due to the relaxing and passive state of the person receiving the treatment. I'll take you through a range of stretches, combining acupressure and deep tissue techniques to improve flexibility, releasing stiffness in muscles and joints, improving blood flow.

SCENAR Therapy

SCENAR is a non-invasive, biofeedback device that sends impulses through the skin, and into the central nervous system to the brain stimulating the production and release of body's own natural healing chemicals and neuropeptides helping to regulate pain and treat the whole body.

Deep Oscillation Therapy (DOT)

Uses gentle vibrating electrostatic impulses, applied through therapist's gloved hands to reduce inflammation and to decrease pain. Works well with Scars & Burns, Fibrotic tissue, Lymphoedema, Lipodema, Post-Op surgeries or other Injuries.
